Photography & Content Policy

By signing the service agreement and booking Petra, the client gives Petra permission to photograph and film the décor, styled spaces and general event atmosphere we create, including during setup and the event. The signed agreement also authorizes us to publish décor-only and other non-identifying event images or videos in our portfolio, website, social media and proposals without a separate opt-in. We will avoid visible private details such as home addresses, invitation information, guest lists and a child's full name unless the client separately approves them.

We will give the client the first opportunity to share the celebration. Petra will not publish event content until the client has publicly posted their own event photos or videos, or until seven calendar days after the event, whichever occurs first. The client may give written permission to share sooner. If the client never posts, the signed agreement is sufficient permission for Petra to publish décor-only and non-identifying event content after that seven-day period; no further written permission is needed. A private message with an image does not count as a public post. We may retain unpublished images for records and editing during this waiting period.

Images or videos in which the client or another person is identifiable require a separate, affirmative marketing opt-in before Petra uses that person's likeness. The client may opt in for their own likeness in the service agreement; each identifiable adult guest must give their own permission, and a parent or legal guardian must permit use of an identifiable child's likeness. A client's choice does not grant permission on behalf of guests. If permission is unavailable, we may crop or blur people or use another décor-only image. Declining this opt-in does not affect service or price. We will honor reasonable no-photo areas and guest privacy instructions provided before the event.

You and your guests may photograph the event subject to venue rules. Professional photographers retain rights in their work unless a written license allows Petra to use the images; please send licensed images or connect us with the photographer for permission. You can withdraw permission for future use by emailing us; we will remove content from channels we control within a reasonable time, though we may not be able to recall printed materials or third-party reposts already distributed.
